Key Responsibilities
Operations Ownership
- Oversee end-to-end operations across:
- Production (pastry and chocolate)
- Order management and fulfilment
- Customer experience
- Ensure smooth, efficient daily execution without founder dependence
- Ensure the business is fully ready to scale into retail
Systems & Process Development
- Design and implement:
- SOPs across all operational areas
- Clear workflows and accountability structures
- Introduce systems for:
- Inventory management
- Production planning
- Order tracking
- Performance management
- Other departments as may be required
Team Leadership & Structure
- Lead, manage, and develop a growing team
- Build a strong internal structure with clear roles and reporting lines
- Drive accountability, discipline, and performance
Financial & Operational Efficiency
- Monitor and improve:
- Cost of production
- Waste reduction
- Pricing efficiency
- Margins
- Ensure the business runs profitably and sustainably
Supply Chain & Inventory
- Oversee sourcing of ingredients and materials
- Manage vendor relationships
- Ensure elimination of stockouts, overstocking, and inefficiencies
Customer Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure consistent premium quality across:
- Products
- Packaging
- Customer service
Reporting & Founder Alignment
- Provide weekly performance reports and insights
- Act as the Founder’s operational partner and execution lead
