DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Head, Business Banking for a leading financial company in Lagos, Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will drive the achievement of Business Banking sales targets and strategic goals in the region, ensuring financial and non-financial objectives are met. They will coordinate comprehensive financial services, manage customer relationships effectively, cultivate new business opportunities, and ensure transactions align with the Bank’s risk appetite, contributing to overall profitability and liquidity.
Interested candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with at least 8 - 10 years’ experience in sales & marketing in any Financial Institution.
Monyhly gross salary is between N1,000,000- N1,500,000 (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the regional sales strategy; ensure all business activities/processes/products are driven towards the achievement of the Region’s objective in line with the overall strategy of the bank.
- Oversee risk asset transactions in the region to ensure growth, quality value propositions and within the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Ensure in-depth understanding of all customers’ portfolios, using customer value chain analysis to effectively meet the needs of the customers.
- Facilitate new Business Banking Inclusion customers through market scanning, joint marketing calls and intelligence gathering
- Provide and drive strong collaboration within the regional Business Banking teams to achieve set targets.
- Drive budgets as well as monitor and report budget performance of Regional Business Banking businesses.
- Ensure customers’ demands are met through effective products/service offerings.
- Review strategies to ensure excellent, efficient and comprehensive customer service delivery is provided constantly.
- Oversee partnership opportunities in the business banking space.
