As an AI Engineer at Wazobia Technologies, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that address complex challenges and enhance our technological capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

1. AI Model Development:
   • Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models tailored to address specific business challenges.
   • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine and optimize models for performance.
2. Data Preparation and Feature Engineering:
   • Work with large datasets, preprocess and clean data, and perform feature engineering to extract meaningful insights.
   • Ensure data quality and integrity for robust AI model training.
3. Algorithm Selection and Evaluation:
   • Select appropriate algorithms and techniques based on project requirements.
   • Evaluate and compare the performance of different models, iterating based on results.
4. Model Training and Optimization:
   • Implement and oversee the training of machine learning models using diverse datasets.
   • Optimize models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
5. Deployment of AI Models:
   • Contribute to the deployment of AI models into production environments.
   • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and monitoring.
6. Continuous Learning and Research:
   • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related fields.
   • Engage in ongoing research to bring innovative solutions to projects.
7. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and domain experts to understand project requirements.

8. Ethical AI Practices:
   • Advocate for ethical AI practices and ensure responsible and unbiased AI model development.
   • Address potential biases in data and models to uphold ethical standards.
9. Documentation:
   • Create comprehensive documentation for AI models, including architecture, training procedures, and deployment instructions.
   • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the development team.
10. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
    • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to AI model performance and integration.
    • Propose and implement effective solutions to overcome challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successful AI model development and deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with AI libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of deployment technologies and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with ethical considerations and responsible AI practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
