Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and requirements.
• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for various infrastructure projects.
• Conduct thorough site assessments, considering geological, environmental, and topographical factors.
• Analyze data to inform engineering decisions and ensure project feasibility.
• Ensure that all civil engineering designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
• Design and analyze structural components of infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads, and buildings.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure integrity and safety in design.
• Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Supervise and inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with engineering designs and standards.
• Address and resolve any on-site challenges or discrepancies.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards in project delivery.
• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental engineers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, present engineering solutions, and address any concerns.
• Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
