The individual will apply data mining techniques, conduct statistical analysis, and build high quality prediction systems integrated with products. Interested candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in area of technical expertise. Job Responsibilities

1. Selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers using machinelearning techniques.
2. Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.
3. Extending company’s data with third party sources of information whenneeded.
4. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that isrelevant for building analytic systems.
5. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used foranalysis.
6. Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
7. Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking ofits performance.
8. Automating scoring using machine learning techniques.
9. Building recommendation systems.
10. Improving and extending the features used by our existing classifiers.
11. Developing internal A/B testing procedures.
12. Build system for automated fraud detection.

Job Requirements

1. Exceptionalunderstanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN,Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests.
2. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as RStudio, Weka,SparkML, scikit-learn, MATLAB, TensorFlow, Mahout, H2O, etc. Excellence in atleast two of these is highly desirable.
3. Experience with datavisualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, D3.js, ggplot.
4. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Drill, Hive, Pig.
5. Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB.
6. Good applied-statistics skills, such as distributions, statisticaltesting, regression.
