The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing and managing a group of engineers and software developers is the responsibility of the lead developer. In charge of overseeing the technical leadership of software projects, making sure that the code is of the highest caliber, ensuring that software quality standards are met by enforcing code standards, conducting rigorous testing, and implementing continuous improvement processes. Job Responsibilities

• Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering their professional growth, and encouraging the adoption of industry best practices
• Ensuring that software quality standards are met by enforcing code standards, conducting rigorous testing, and implementing continuous improvement processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and deliver effective and impactful software applications.
• Staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills, and driving innovation within the development team
• Technical Leadership: Offer the development team technical skills, mentorship, and advice. Assist them in making decisions and resolving challenging technological issues.
• Project Management: Work together with project managers to establish the specifications, parameters, and schedule for your projects. Prioritize and organize work to guarantee the prompt delivery of high-caliber software solutions.
• Team Management: Oversee the hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews of a group of software developers. Encourage a cooperative and effective work atmosphere.
• Architectural Design: Work together with stakeholders and architects to create software solutions that satisfy company needs. Establish and uphold development processes, best practices, and code standards.
• Technical Documentation: Write and update technical documents such as user manuals, design documents, and system architectures. Make that all documentation is current, accurate, and easily obtainable.

Job Requirements

• Typically, one requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline. Plus, professional certification.

•  5-7 years of experience developing software. This involves having a solid grasp of the procedures, approaches, and best practices associated with software development. It is frequently preferred to have prior expertise in a senior development or leadership job.
•  A lead software developer must possess strong technical abilities. This involves having a solid understanding of programming languages like Python, C++, Java, and others. It's also crucial to understand database management systems, web technologies, and software development frameworks and tools. It could also be necessary to have knowledge of fields or technological advancements related to the company's sector.
