Delon Jobs is hiring an Android Developer in Nigeria. The candidate should have 3 to 5yearsexperience in Java, C# and Dot Net. Experience in FINTECH will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. Gross salary is negotiable between 5M-7Mper annum.  Translate designs and wire frames into high quality codeDesign, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code 

 Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization 

 Building and Designing advanced Android applications for Android platformCross-functional team collaboration to design, define and ship new features 

 To use and work with outside APIs and data sources 

 To perform unit test to ensure usability, robustness, edge cases and general reliability 

 To work and make sure improved application performance and bug fixingContinuous evaluation, discovery and implementation of new technologies to maximize the efficiency of development. 

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONMinimum of First Degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or any other physical sciences. Additional related qualification will be an added AdvantageSpecialized knowledge: Minimum of 3-5years cognate experience. 

Knowledge of automated testing will be an added advantageStrong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning 

 SKILLS/COMPETENCE

 Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers 

 Knowledge of the open-source 

Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks 

 Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements 

 Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications 

 A knack for benchmarking and optimizationUnderstanding of Google’s 

Android design principles and interface guidelines 

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with continuous integration
