Delon Jobs is helping a Solar Energy company in Lagos to hire a Sales Specialist / Marketer. Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Specialist / Marketer will be responsible for marketing and selling solar energy solutions to factories, private and government hospitals, medical diagnostic centers, as well as other small, medium, and large enterprises across Nigeria. The annual salary will be about N1.8m plus commission. Candidate will develop new markets, solutions, and services, as well as handle forecasting,lead generation, qualification, and closing sales. JOB DESCRIPTION:In addition to job summary details, the following are other requirements and relevant information:


– Bachelor’s or HND degree

– 3 Years Business to Business solar sales experience

– Experience selling solar energy solutions will be an advantage

– Excellent communication and presentation skills

– Experience in sales planning, closing deals, territory management, territory management,prospecting, and meeting tough sales goals

Job Description

-Identify market potential by qualifying prospective accounts and seek new business opportunities

-Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations and clearly understanding account requirement,

-Close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections and preparing contracts,

-Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services, developing new applications-Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from the accounts

-Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results, identifying needs to be filled-Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

-Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed

-Provide weekly report

-Prepare a monthly and quarterly sales forecast

-Provide manager with a weekly pipeline report
