Job Overview:

As an Account Officer at ABC Logistics, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Invoice Processing: Manage the timely processing of customer invoices and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and controlling departmental budgets, providing timely updates to management on variances and trends.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support decision-making processes and provide insights into the financial health of the company.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (mention specific software if applicable) and Microsoft Excel.
