Business Development Executive – BDENE241

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Business Development Executive to join a leading engineering company in Nigeria who will be responsible for researching potential clients and opportunities, generating leads, and fostering relationships in the public and private sectors, create proposals, analyze market data, arrange meetings, and deliver presentations. The candidate should have minimum of  5 years of relevant experience working with  Construction (EPC) firms and International Oil Companies (IOCs). Monthly gross salary is N600,000.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•             Conduct research to identify potential clients and opportunities for construction projects within the public and private sectors, including industrial clients, state governments, and institutional clients such as banks, insurance companies, and pension funds.

•             Engage in direct outreach to potential clients through in-person interactions to generate leads and foster business relationships in specified sectors, including industrial, institutional, private, and governmental.

•             Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to formulate mutually beneficial proposals and expressions of interest.

•             Utilize customer and competitor data to extract valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

•             Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry-specific standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.

•             Arrange and facilitate business meetings with prospective clients.

•             Develop and deliver presentations to showcase company capabilities and services to prospective clients.

•             Demonstrate expertise in navigating requisite registrations, permits, and vendor platforms specific to the oil & gas and public sectors.

Experience:

•             Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with International Oil Companies (IOCs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, and/or construction companies.

Qualifications:

•             Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering is required.
