Job Description

DelonJobs is looking to hire a Business Development Officer for a leading financial institution located in Lagos, Nigeria. Job Responsibilities

  • Expand the BaaS and embedded payment market presence and empower businesses with flexible, cutting-edge banking services.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling “Edge” services, and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand Edge's market presence, including targeting new customer segments and geographical areas.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with fintech firms, businesses, and technology providers to enhance the Edge ecosystem.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Edge services, ensuring effective communication, and understanding of their value propositions.
  • Foster relationships with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, assess market trends, and identify opportunities to maintain Edge's competitive advantage.
  • Report on performance metrics, conduct market analysis, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry innovations and trends, incorporate them into strategies for Edge's growth and success.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the technology space.
