Job Overview:

Kuda Bank is seeking an experienced and diligent IT Auditor to join our dynamic team. As an IT Auditor, you will play a critical role in assessing and ensuring the effectiveness of our information technology controls, systems, and processes. This position requires a keen understanding of IT risks, compliance standards, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the security and integrity of Kuda Bank's IT infrastructure while supporting our commitment to providing a secure and reliable digital banking platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment:
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats in Kuda Bank's IT systems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing IT controls and propose improvements to mitigate risks.
  • IT Audits:
  • Plan and execute IT audits in accordance with established audit plans and industry standards.
  • Assess the adequacy of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Compliance Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on IT controls.
  • Security Assessments:
  • Perform security assessments on information systems, applications, and networks.
  • Identify and address vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential areas of exploitation.
  • Incident Response:
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address potential IT security incidents.
  • Investigate and report on security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
  • IT Governance:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance structures and processes.
  • Provide recommendations for improving IT governance and risk management practices.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams:
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand system architecture, technology processes, and security controls.
  • Provide guidance on integrating security measures into IT projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare comprehensive and clear audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Propose and implement enhancements to IT audit methodologies and tools.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in IT security and controls.
  • Training and Awareness:
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance awareness of IT security best practices among Kuda Bank staff.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and threats in the IT security landscape.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an IT Auditor, preferably in the financial or fintech industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT risk management, information security, and IT governance.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
