Job Overview:

As a Mart Supervisor at Reposebay, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our mart, ensuring the efficient functioning of all aspects related to product display, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, and experience in retail or mart supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mart Operations:
   • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mart, including opening and closing procedures.
   • Ensure that the mart is clean, organized, and visually appealing for customers.
2. Inventory Management:
   • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
   • Conduct regular stock checks and implement efficient replenishment processes.
3. Product Display and Merchandising:
   • Supervise the arrangement of products on shelves and displays for optimal visibility and attractiveness.
   • Collaborate with the merchandising team to create eye-catching product displays.
4. Customer Service:
   • Train and lead the mart staff in providing excellent customer service.
   • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a prompt and courteous manner.
5. Staff Management:
   • Recruit, train, and schedule mart staff to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
   • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
6. Sales and Promotions:
   • Implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement.
   • Monitor sales trends and suggest strategies to increase revenue.
7. Cash Handling:
   • Supervise cashiers in handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
   • Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and policies.
8. Security and Loss Prevention:
   • Implement security measures to prevent theft and loss.
   • Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a safe shopping environment.
9. Vendor Management:
   • Coordinate with vendors for product deliveries, returns, and stock rotations.
   • Negotiate favorable terms and discounts with suppliers.
10. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Keep abreast of local laws and regulations affecting mart operations.
11. Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a retail or mart setting.
