Job Description

DelonJobs is seeking to hire Resource Mobilization Officer for a tier-2 bank in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing business strategies, solutions, and business development initiatives including the management of fundraising, overall oversight and coordination of donor engagement, and all fundraising targeted at private sector partners. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising management, and business development initiatives within the FINTECH or banking sector. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Salary is N12 million per annum.

Job Description

• Develop a fundraising strategy and operational plan that meets the strategic requirements of the foundation in consultation with key program staff.
• Manage the onboarding, growth, and retention of donors within the foundation.
• Engage and coordinate business development activities and initiatives to drive revenue and resource generation for the foundation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional units to develop strategies and execute business development initiatives and activities that will directly improve the foundation’s market across the country.
• Identify donor communities, convert, and acquire the donors.
• Carry out strategic calls while collaborating with relevant stakeholders to grow resources and revenue for the foundation.
• Ensure regular project reporting to all donors as at when due to build trust, increase donor share of wallet, and boost recurring donor base for the foundation.
• Assist in evaluating situations and calculating risks while defending quality standards.
• Relevant understanding of Anti-money laundering policies, CBN monetary policies and guidelines.
