Tax Specialist

Ensuring tax compliance for the subsidiaries – filing the tax returns by the due date and paying the taxes by the due date
Implement new tax requirements in the subsidiaries, ensure proper accounting and mapping of the taxes
Calculation of the corporate tax and deferred tax on a monthly/quarterly basis
Reconciliation of the tax GLs
Tax assurance on all lines subject to tax to ensure accuracy and completeness
Reviewing tax exposure points on an ongoing basis through regular compliance checks for the subsidiaries
Facilitate smooth flow of all tax audits conducted by the revenue authority as well as the external auditors/consultants
Create tax awareness across the subsidiaries
Improving the tax payment process by ensuring all taxes are accounted and paid on time; and
Maintain legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting and implementing new or revised tax laws
