Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Record and classify financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, and revenue.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Generate financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Internal Controls:
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Bank Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong track record of financial management.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
