Delon Jobs is helping a leading insurance company in Nigeria to hire an Enterprise Resource Application (Navision) Support Specialist in Lagos. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the individual will act as liaison between IT and end users and be a technical subject matter expert for key business applications. Duties associated with the role include but are not limited to end-user support, training, troubleshooting and documenting application support processes and procedures. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of professional client service, interactions, and experience in applying detailed product knowledge to resolve application issues. Salary is negotiable between N3m and N3.6m per annum (including benefits). Minimum of 5 years experience in database/ application support in production environment
Relevant professional certification e.g oracle Database 11g/12c MSSOL etc

Experience in training users in Navision Functionality
Experience in Navision implementation projects
Ability of translate business requirement into design specifications
Knowledge of Navision development language e.i Client/Server Application Language ( C/AL)
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with hand-on technical ability
Strong inter personal skills and ability to coordinate efforts within a team
Strong process and process- implementation orientation
Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface with and influence others and various levels within the organisation

Provide application maintenance services through proper configuration management
Ensure timely resolution of requests for support in line with agreed service levels.
Provide timely follow-up and status reports to staff on all issues and inquiries through the resolution process
Provide training to end users on the use of key business applications.
Under appropriate level of supervision, assist with enhancements , upgrades, patches and testing of applications according to established change management processes and procedures.
Liaise with application vendors and software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or fulfill business requirements
Assist with review of business processes and recommend changes that will improve efficiencies and best practices.
Assist in designing acceptance test cases for new or upgraded systems.
Perform daily monitoring and reporting for enterprise information systems
