Your responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive test plans, conducting various testing types, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

• • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop detailed test plans and strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools for efficient and repeatable testing processes.
  • Verify that software applications meet specified functional requirements through systematic testing.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Maintain and update regression test suites for ongoing testing needs.
  • Plan and execute performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of software applications.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance.
  • Coordinate and conduct UAT with end-users to validate that software solutions meet business requirements.
  • Gather feedback from users and work collaboratively to address any concerns or issues.
  • Work closely with developers to understand the technical aspects of software applications.
  • Provide clear and concise information on identified issues, facilitating efficient resolution.
  • Document and track defects throughout the testing life cycle.
  • Verify that reported issues have been successfully resolved and conduct retesting as needed.
  • Stay updated on testing methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives within the testing team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful testing projects.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
