Job Description:

OnePyramid Consulting Limited is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stock Auditor to join our team. The Stock Auditor will play a critical role in evaluating and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, conducting audits, and providing insights to optimize stock management processes for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to enhance stock control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Auditing:
    • Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of inventory records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
    • Investigate discrepancies, identify the root causes, and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
  2. Stock Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile physical stock levels with system records, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with warehouse and finance teams to ensure accurate recording of stock movements and adjustments.
  3. Data Analysis:
    • Utilize analytical tools to analyze stock data, trends, and variances, providing actionable insights to improve inventory management.
    • Generate reports summarizing audit findings and recommendations for internal and client stakeholders.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Assess existing stock control processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement best practices in stock management and control.
  5. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in stock management.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of stock-related processes, policies, and audit procedures.
  6. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate audit results and recommendations to internal and client management in a clear and concise manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, finance, and procurement, to address stock-related challenges.
  7. Training and Development:
    • Provide training and guidance to internal staff and client teams on best practices in stock auditing and management.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to inventory control.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in stock auditing, inventory management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to stock management.
